9. Using the Action Editor to make changes
Mistakes happen. If you need to edit, delete or add actions to a bout, the Action Editor will be used to accomplish that.
Please exercise care when using the Action Editor, as it does not strictly enforce wrestler positions as the live scoring functionality does; in editing or adding actions, you can create actions that do not make sense within the context of the match based on the positions of the wrestlers at the time.
Click the Edit Actions button to access the Editor.
Note that while in the Action Editor, you cannot simultaneously score the match live and all running clocks will be stopped.
You can select the period you would like to edit using the dropdown list at the top. By default, the Action Editor always opens into the current period.
When available for an action, click the Blue pencil icon in that action's row to access the popup window for that action's options.
Note that not all actions can be edited; actions that cannot be edited will not display a blue icon in its row.
The Edit function will prompt you with a window showing you the text of the original play and the options that can be changed for that action.
Each type of action will display different options that can be changed for that specific action.
Note that you cannot change an action type (for example, change a score to a violation). To change an action type, delete the original action and insert a new one.
To insert a new action into the match, use the green buttons on each row to choose to enter an action either before or after the original action
You'll then be prompted to specify the type of action you would like to add to the match.
Note that if you specify a new time for the action when entering it, the action will be entered chronologically into the Period regardless of whether you have selected before or after.
Note that if you insert an action (such as a score) that changes the position of the wrestlers, the continuity of your match may be affected and you may need to insert additional position changes to correct.
To delete an action from the period, click the corresponding red trash can icon for the action and confirm that you wish to delete it.
Note that deleting an action may result in the positions of the wrestlers being out of context for the match (for instance if you delete a takedown but leave a corresponding escape)
