Using the Post-Match Result Entry Tool for entering offline matches
If you have a match that wasn't scored live on StatInput, but you would still like the results/statistics to display in your season reports, you can enter the results in the Post-Match Result Entry Tool.
If you have an official scoresheet or postmatch report, you can use the tool to input the scoring results of each bout. Please see steps listed as Scoresheet Entry
If no scoresheet is available and only final results/scores, you can still use the tool to track the results for use in season records, etc. Please see steps listed as Final Results Entry
The option will appear below the green Live Scoring button when available.
Each Period has a table associated with it where you can enter the score notations for both wrestlesr.
Clicking on a cell will reveal a dropdown menu where you can select an acceptable score notation. Each time a new score is added, an additional row will automatically be added to the bottom.
Scoring should be entered in the alternating order that it occurred in the match.
If no scoring took place in a period, be sure to check the box to notate that so that the period is not skipped during processing.
Be sure to mark the winning wrestler and the decision type.
If a bout was decided by Fall, Technical Fall or DQ/Forfeit, be sure to record the ending time (total elapsed time) of the match.
If a riding time was tracked during the bout, you can input the total riding time and the wrestler that finished with the advantage. Note: riding time points are not awarded automatically based on this entry; you must mark RT in a wrestler's column in the final Period in order to award a point.
You can use the red Re-Enter Results button to start over on entering results for a bout. Note: this will erase any existing information saved for the bout.
You can use the blue Bout Editor button to bring up the Editor view from the main Live Scoring interface. This will allow you to add, edit or delete individual scoring actions as needed for a bout you have already entered.
Note: if a bout already has any scoring entered for it, even if not finished, you will not be able to enter a final result for it.
For any bout that has a required field missing (wrestlers, winner, decision type), all fields will be skipped during entry and no data will be saved for that bout.
If a bout went to overtime, select the type of period (Sudden Victory or Tie Breaker) during which the bout ended.
For matches ending in a Fall, Technical Fall or DQ/Forfeit, enter the elapsed time of the match when ended.
